Paige: Gary Kubiak's Broncos offense pitiful again in loss to Raiders

In the 55 previous seasons the Broncos had played the dreadhead Oakland Raiders, they never failed to score an offensive touchdown.

They have now.

In eight quarters this year in Oakland and in Denver, the Broncos had seven field goals.

And, in the home-and-home series, the Broncos' defense scored one more touchdown than the Broncos' offense, or a dead man.

There can be no excuses.

I pointed out to coach Gary Kubiak that I didn't remember an 0-for-season vs. the Raiders in his 21 years as a player and a coach with the Broncos, and my 42 seasons of covering the team.
