I have written about this every year since 2020 IIRC, but here we are in 2024 with another completed NFL draft and the Denver Broncos STILL haven’t drafted an offensive tackle since Garett Bolles in 2017.
Now before we get to deep into this let me give two caveats.
- Dalton Risner played some right tackle in college, but since he has never taken a snap at tackle in the NFL. He is NOT an offensive tackle.
- 2024 seventh round draft pick, Nick Garguilo, played LT during his years at Yale, but when he moved up to higher level college football (at USC), he only played center.
