NFL Journal: Courtland Sutton confident young Broncos offense can deal with not having on-field time before camp

Back in normal times for the NFL, like last year, the Broncos would be getting ready to start organized team activities, the first chance to do 11-on-11 on-field work.

But the coronavirus pandemic has closed the doors of team facilities, and the offseason program is likely over before it started.

So what is a young offense like the Broncos’ missing by not having OTAs?

“You miss the huddle calls and you miss being able to hear (quarterback) Drew (Lock) call out a play in the huddle and us breaking the huddle and lining up,” receiver Courtland Sutton said.
