Analysis: Taking RB Saquon Barkley second overall will help the Giants to get the most out of what’s left of QB Eli Manning’s career. Barkley could be a Pro Bowler soon. But once Manning retires, the Giants might look back and wish they’d taken Sam Darnold to replace him. Does taking Kyle Lauletta in Round 4 qualify as putting in place a successor-in-waiting to Manning?
