Mark Sanchez doesn't remember every detail from his own prom, but he can recall the important ones. He remembers he went with his best friend, Rebecca. They rented a limousine, as most do, as and they went to a Greek restaurant in Los Angeles beforehand — one that was fancy enough to make the night seem important and special.
Friday evening, Sanchez returned to prom, but this time he was accompanied by more than 100 teenage patients from Children's Hospital Colorado.
"I still needed help with the boutonnière," he admitted.
Sanchez was a surprise guest at Children's 10th annual prom for patients who may have missed their high school proms because of treatments or because they were simply not healthy enough to attend.
