ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Tight end Virgil Green and tackle Donald Stephenson did not practice Thursday and both remain significant question marks for the Denver Broncos this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Both Green and Stephenson were held out of last Sunday’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals with calf injuries and neither player made the trip to Cincinnati. The two players were on the practice field Thursday for the first time since they each suffered the injuries but did not participate.
Stephenson is not expected to play Sunday against the Buccaneers, while Broncos coach Gary Kubiak has said Green is slightly ahead in his recovery.
