Knee injury sidelines Broncos OLB Von Miller from regular-season game for first time since 2013

The Broncos still refuse to name Drew Lock their starting quarterback for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. But they did find time to announce their inactives, which includes outside linebacker Von Miller with a knee injury.

Miller (left knee) was listed as “50-50” to play by coach Vic Fangio after Friday’s practice. Miller will miss a regular-season game for the first time since 2013. Three hours before the game, Miller, wearing a large brace, went through some conditioning drills.

James, a full participant in practice all week, was listed as questionable and will miss his fourth consecutive game.
