JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars are placing two-way star Travis Hunter on injured reserve because of a knee injury.

Coach Liam Coen announced the news Friday, a day after Hunter injured a knee in practice. Coen called it a non-contact injury and said the team is “still assessing” whether Hunter will be able to play again this season.

“That I don’t know,” Coen said, adding that it’s “a minor setback for a major comeback.”

Hunter delivered a career performance in a loss to the Los Angeles Rams in London. The CU Buffs’ 2024 Heisman Trophy winner caught eight passes for 101 yards and a touchdown, and the Jaguars (4-3) were planning to use him as their No.
