“A lot of advice,” said former Sun Devils receiver Brandon Aiyuk. “Every single practice, they would let us know and it would be the whole coaching staff yelling, ‘Do something like that next year, you’ll no longer have a job.’”
Combined with his talent, Aiyuk translated that guidance into 1,192 yards receiving, 15th in FBS and second in the Pac 12 (USC’s Michael Pittman had 1,275), putting him in the first-round conversation in this year’s NFL draft.
