Getting David Moore is a feather in George Paton’s cap

The loss of K.J. Hamler had me quite worried about the Denver Broncos offense. After losing Jerry Jeudy (our most talented route runner, hands down), losing K.J. Hamler takes another tool out of the belt for the Broncos offense.

Sure, you didn't see Hamler’s stats as eye-popping or extraordinary. But what you don’t see on the stat sheet is that teams have had to respect his speed when he’s on the field in 11 personnel. Safety help has oftentimes been over the top of his route because he has the kind of speed that can make any NFL corner look bad one-on-one.
