One of the biggest surprises of the 2020 season has been the development of Garett Bolles. He’s gone from one of the most inconsistent tackles I’ve seen to play at the professional level to one of the best offensive linemen on the team.
Whether that means much in the grand scheme of things or not is still a legitimate question. The NFL overall has seen a huge downward trend in holding penalties being called. The vast number of injuries in the NFL has also limited the pass rushing capabilities of multiple teams.
Nevertheless, look for the Broncos to either franchise tag or extend Bolles heading into the 2021 NFL season.
