MOBILE, Ala. – Kansas State right tackle Dalton Risner grew up in Wiggins, Colo., about 65 miles northwest of Broncos Stadium at Mile High. He grew up a Broncos fan. And one of his Senior Bowl Week highlights here has been meeting former Broncos safety Steve Atwater.
The Broncos could have an opening at right tackle if they decide to not re-sign Jared Veldheer and feel Elijah Wilkinson is better suited for guard.
Count Risner as being excited about that possibility.
“it would a blessing to go back home to Denver,” he said Tuesday.
