LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Denver’s trip to Soldier Field holds special meaning for Chicago Bears kicker Robbie Gould.
Standing on the opposite sideline Sunday will be Gould’s younger brother, Chris, whom the Broncos hired to be a Special Teams Coaching Intern in May.
Chris kicked and punted collegiately at Virginia, followed by a three-year stint in the Arena Football League for the Chicago Rush and Arizona Rattlers.
“It’s kind of funny because when he got hired in May, I looked at the schedule and noticed we played the Broncos,” Robbie said on Wednesday.
