Mayor Michael Hancock has declared Jan. 22 Orange Friday in the city as the Denver Broncos prepare for the AFC Championship game Sunday against the New England Patriots.
The city will host a fan rally Friday in Larimer Square downtown from noon to 1:30 p.m., the city said in a news release.
"Broncos Country is hungrier than ever for another AFC Championship and Denver will be back out in orange to cheer on our Denver Broncos," said Hancock, who during his senior year in high school was Huddles the Broncos mascot. "So break out your jeans and jerseys one more time because the march to the Super Bowl continues, and our fans have their back every step of the way.
