The former first round pick from Memphis was projected to be the franchise quarterback for the Denver Broncos after Peyton Manning’s retirement. The search, for the time being, will continue with Paxton Lynch no longer a Denver Bronco.
According to multiple sources, the Broncos have informed Paxton Lynch that he will be waived by the team. The hopeful experiment has come to an end in Denver. Lynch will now hit the waiver wire.
The move allows the Broncos to move on and gives Paxton Lynch a fresh start elsewhere. It should be a move that will benefit both parties.
