The season began with Trevor Siemian as quarterback leading the Denver Broncos to a 3-1 record, but after a downward spiral, Siemian struggled to maintain consistency. Siemian led the way early, but the progressions and holding the ball too long led to numerous turnovers that would become contagious for the rest of the team.
Brock Osweiler reunited with the Denver Broncos to add insurance at the quarterback position. Osweiler then saw game action the past three weeks. However, Osweiler has had similar issues throwing interceptions like Siemian.
This led to the third change at quarterback: Paxton Lynch.
