Denver Broncos: Kareem Jackson named Defensive Player of the Week

Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson’s return to Houston was a rewarding one.

Jackson had a phenomenal game against his former Texans team. It earned him AFC Defensive Player of the Year honors for week fourteen.

He recorded 11 tackles (6 solo, 5 assisted), defended three passes, as well as returning a play for a touchdown.

Defensive lineman Jeremiah Attaochu recovered a fumble and before he was brought to the ground, he handed the ball off to Jackson, who returned it for a score.

Jackson also laid a huge hit on Texans star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins that prevented a third-and-14 conversion late in the first quarter.
