The Denver Broncos have had a barrage of injuries in the 2020 season, and what seems to be an unfortunately frequent target of the injury bug in recent years is the tight end position.
The Broncos recently placed rookie Albert Okwuegbunam on injured reserve after a really promising and fun start to his NFL career in 2020. They also, in recent weeks, have placed Andrew Beck and Jake Butt on IR, but hopefully of the temporary variety.
The injuries have been bad enough at tight end that the Broncos brought Troy Fumagalli back to the practice squad, and he could be activated for game duty as soon as this weekend against the Raiders.
