Denver was in the market for a linebacker coming into day three of the 2019 NFL Draft. This was probably the surprise of the day that they would get the depth via trade, but it involves a former Bronco player in Dekoda Watson.
That is right Broncos Country. Dekoda Watson is returning to the Denver Broncos. The Broncos and San Francisco 49ers have agreed in terms to a trade that will send Watson and a sixth round pick (212th overall) to the Broncos in exchange for the first of Denver’s two fifth round draft picks (148th overall).
