The Broncos needed another lockdown corner, especially after Chris Harris Jr. left in free agency. A.J. Bouye believes he is that guy.
“I know I can hold my own out there (against outside receivers),” he said. “I’m a physical corner, and I can come up and tackle.”
Denver officially announced Bouye as its first free agent addition on Wednesday, and the veteran cornerback is excited to be a part of the energy — and rise in momentum — of Broncos Country.
“I’m looking forward to playing there,” Bouye said. “The atmosphere was one of the things that stood out to me — the fans and the way everything is ran there.
