Christian McCaffrey will sign a four-year, $64 million extension with the Carolina Panthers, according to ESPN.
The deal will make McCaffrey the highest-paid running back in NFL history.
The former Valor Christian star and son of former Broncos receiver Ed McCaffrey became just the third player in NFL history to record 1,000 yards receiving and 1,000 yards rushing in a single season last year. His 2,392 yards from scrimmage was third-best in NFL history.
