It’s been quite the year for the Panthers’ Christian McCaffrey. He became the third player in NFL history to record 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving last season and then set the mark for biggest contract for a running back in April.
Now he’s joined another exclusive club.
The former Valor Christian star received a 99 (out of 99) overall rating in Madden NFL 21 on Tuesday, Electronics Arts announced. He’s the first running back to earn the rating since then-Vikings star Adrian Peterson in Madden NFL 25 back in 2013.
“That’s an honor,” McCaffrey said in a video released by EA.
