My name is Melinda, and I’m a burn survivor.
Four years ago, I was trapped under a moving treadmill and burned my leg, arm and stomach. I received skin grafts at Children’s Hospital Colorado to treat my burns. All of my treatment was outpatient, so I was not able to meet any Broncos players or other famous people when they came to the hospital. Being able to meet a Broncos player and watch the whole team practice was so awesome!
I was able to go to the Broncos training facility with my dad.
