Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce makes NFL history amid another dominating performance against the Broncos

KANSAS CITY, MO. — It was as if history wasn’t enough for Travis Kelce on Sunday. The Chiefs All-Pro tight end, snow globe and all, also wanted to make sure he dominated the Denver defense… again.

Kelce became the first tight end in NFL history to record four consecutive seasons of 1,000 yards receiving, catalyzing a Chiefs offense that scored on its first five drives in a 23-3 blowout. Kelce finished with a season-high 11 catches for 142 yards, an obvious mismatch for whatever Denver linebacker or defensive back was asked to try and cover him.
