George Paton has been named the new GM of the Broncos, and sports aficionados are praising the hire.
Paton, former assistant general manager and vice president of player personnel, called the Broncos’ organization a “sleeping giant,” and hit on all the right phrases when describing why he chose this franchise to be his job promotion.
“It is an honor to be named General Manager of an iconic franchise with a championship tradition like the Denver Broncos,” he said.
