Both the Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers will enter Week 8 with identical 2-4 records. The loser will fall to 2-5 and have a huge uphill climb to salvage anything from this season.
Both teams are looking up at the Chiefs in the division and likely will be for the rest of this season. Both teams have young quarterbacks that each believes is the future of the franchise and both teams likely thought they would be better than 2-4 right now.
For the Chargers’ part, they have been in every game, including narrow losses to top teams such as the Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
