Broncos up-down drill: Best and worst performances against the Vikings

UP: Noah Fant’s development as a rookie tight end. Fant had a huge game (four catches for 60 yards) by using his speed to find gaping holes in the Vikings’ secondary.

DOWN: Inability to close out a game. Rinse, wash, repeat. It’s getting old.

UP: The first half showing by Denver was the best football it played in year one under coach Vic Fangio.

DOWN: Time management by Broncos in the final frantic seconds. Brandon Allen’s big run on fourth down set up first-and-goal at the 4-yard line.
