TAMPA, Fla. — The Broncos will play a second consecutive game thin on the offensive line, with tight end Virgil Green and right tackle Donald Stephenson out of the lineup, as expected, against the Buccaneers.
Green, a stout blocker as well as a pass-catcher, remains out with a calf injury. Denver coach Gary Kubiak said Friday that Green is probably able to play, physically, but the Broncos will hold him out an additional game to allow him to fully heal.
Like Green, Stephenson traveled with the team to Florida and was likely able to play, but will not.
