Robert Garner is one knock away from induction into Canton.
The Broncos superfan was named one of three finalists for the Ford Hall of Fans on Tuesday, earning him and his family a trip to Super Bowl LIV in Miami. There, the 40-year-old will find out later this week if he’s the one to receive the fateful news from Pro Football Hall of Fame president David Baker that he will be inducted into the Ford Hall of Fans in Canton.
“I don’t even have words,” said Garner, 40, a firefighter from Fort Collins. “From the very start, I’ve been so excited and honored that the Broncos and Champ Bailey chose me to be their representative in this competition… I’m just hoping David Baker knocks on my hotel room door.
