The Broncos signed wide receiver Tim Patrick to their practice squad Friday and released wide receiver River Cracraft, who they had signed to the practice squad earlier in the week.
Patrick, a 6-foot-4, 212-pound wide receiver who played college football at Utah, was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in April. He was released at the end of July and spent training camp with the San Francisco 49ers.
Patrick led Utah with 45 catches for 711 yards and five touchdowns as a senior last season despite missing parts of four games due to injuries.
