Broncos sign tackle Garett Bolles to four-year extension

Back on May 1st, the Denver Broncos declined to pick up the fifth-year option for Garett Bolles after the former 2017 first-round pick was among the league’s most penalized player in every year he played in the league. Many on the outside assumed that if Mike Munchak couldn’t fix Bolles’ penalty issues then no one could.

All Munchak needed, however, was more time. Ten games into the 2020 season and it is clear that Garett Bolles was earning an extension or a big paycheck come free agent time in March. He got that extension.
