The Denver Broncos have added more depth to the defensive line by signing former Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Christian Covington on Tuesday to a one-year deal that is worth up to $1.75 million with $625,000 guaranteed.
Covington, 26, was a rotational player for the Houston Texans as a sixth-round pick in 2015, but he appeared in every game for the Cowboys last season before becoming a free agent this year. He piled up 28 tackles and sack in 481 snaps in 2019.
The Broncos defensive line room is becoming quite crowded, which is a good thing.
