Broncos sign 3 tryout players, roster now at 90-player maximum

The Broncos’ roster is at the maximum of 90 players after signing linebacker Bo Bower, defensive tackle Caushaud Lyons and outside linebacker Antonio Simmons on Friday. A source Told the Denver Post of the Bower signing. A source confirmed The Athletic’s report of the Lyons and Simmons signings.

Each player participated in this week’s minicamp on a tryout basis.

Bower (6-foot-1, 228 pounds) was a teammate of Broncos rookie linebacker Josey Jewell at Iowa. Bower started his final two seasons at weak-side linebacker and had a combined 181 tackles. He started his college career as a walk-on.
