Broncos safety Shiloh Keo suspended by NFL for two games

The NFL has suspended Broncos safety Shiloh Keo two games without pay for violating its substance-abuse policy, according to an NFL source.

Keo can participate in the Broncos’ remaining training camp practices and games. But once the regular season begins, he is barred from Broncos facilities and team activities until Sept. 19, after the Broncos’ Week 2 game against the Colts.

The punishment stems from Keo’s arrest in Idaho on Feb. 13 on a charge of driving under the influence. According to Ada County, Idaho, court records, Keo pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor DUI charge and was sentenced to one-year probation and had his license suspended.
