The Broncos promoted inside linebacker Jerrol Garcia-Williams, offensive tackle Elijah Wilkinson and center/guard Dillon Day from the practice squad Saturday.
Garcia-Williams takes the spot of reserve linebacker/special-teamer Corey Nelson, who suffered a bicep tear in practice Wednesday and was placed on season-ending injured reserve.
“Corey has had a great year, both on defense and special teams,” head coach Vance Joseph said. “So, that’s a big loss for us. But, it happens.”
Wilkinson and Day bolster an offensive line that lost tackle/guard Billy Turner to a hand fracture last week and will be without tackles Menelik Watson and Donald Stephenson on Sunday — possibly longer — because of calf injuries.
