Bill Musgrave took the high road with reporters Thursday at the UCHealth Training Center, falling on his own play-calling sword for the Broncos’ offensive failures against the New York Jets and exuding confidence for improvement with the undefeated Los Angeles Rams in town Sunday.
“I feel like I didn’t get anybody into a rhythm in New York,” said Musgrave, the Broncos’ offensive coordinator. “(Running backs) were getting stood up at times at the line of scrimmage, and then we didn’t get our quarterback and receivers into a flow. That’s my job, so I’m looking forward to doing a better job of that starting with this week.
