D.J. Jones has seen just about everything in the NFL.
In his ninth season, he’ll make at least one addition to the list.
The veteran defensive tackle will see a “C” on his jersey each week when he puts it on.
Jones was voted captain by his teammates, head coach Sean Payton announced Wednesday, making him one of eight for the Broncos in 2025. He highlights a set that also includes quarterback Bo Nix, who earned the nod for a second straight year.
“It’s an honor and it’s something that I’ll never take for granted,” Nix said.
