ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his work in the Broncos’ 34-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
Miller finished the game with three sacks of Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, including a fourth-quarter sack and forced fumble that led to Shane Ray’s 15-yard fumble return for a touchdown with 1:42 remaining in the game. Miller currently leads the NFL with four sacks after two weeks of play. In his past four games, including last season's playoffs, Miller has nine sacks, three forced fumbles, 10 hits on opposing quarterbacks and an interception.
