Every year it seems as though we are talking about preseason football and how starters rarely play in games that look, and feel, meaningless.
It today’s NFL, players come into training camp already shape and ready to play. Teams don’t need four or five preseason games to get ready for the grind of 16 regular season games.
Fans don’t like it because they don’t get to watch their favorite players for more than a couple series a game. And for those in Broncos Country who attend games, I doubt they enjoyed paying full price for tickets, parking, food and drinks only to see Kevin Hogan and Brett Rypien quarterback the Broncos.
