The Broncos’ history of playing games at Lambeau Field stinks.
Vic Fangio’s track record isn’t much better.
Denver has lost four consecutive times in Green Bay — 2011: 49-23 / 2003: 31-3 / 1996: 41-6 / 1993: 30-27 — and entered this week’s matchup at the Packers considered 8.5-point underdogs. No real surprise considering their contrasting 0-2 and 2-0 starts to the season.
But Fangio requires no introduction to the Packers, and most notably, their Super Bowl XLV winning quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The Broncos’ first-year head coach faced Rodgers-led offenses seven times as Bears defensive coordinator (2015-18) with two wins and five losses.
