Right around the time the Houston Texans began their epic collapse, the Denver Broncos threw out a needed distraction.
The Broncos made a surprising move to fire offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello and quickly move to hire Pat Shurmur. After that, Broncos Country didn’t care what was unfolding between the Texans and Kansas City Chiefs. Obviously the headline and that last statement are tongue-in-cheek, but it was true in my case.
