The Broncos’ winter of staff attrition, finally, is turning over to a spring of staff addition.
Denver is hiring Camren Williams, the New England Patriots’ director of college scouting, as the organization’s co-director of player personnel, a source confirmed to The Denver Post on Tuesday afternoon. ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported the hire.
It’s a step up the rung for Williams, a rising figure in NFL ranks who climbed quickly through the Patriots scouting department after being hired as an assistant in 2016. He joined the club not long after a four-year career as a linebacker at Ohio State.
