The Denver Broncos made a lot of moves this weekend. They ended up with just one of their original picks ending up theirs and that was their first round pick. The rest were moved via four different trades. They moved back twice in the second round, then moved up into the third, before moving back again in the sixth. They went in with seven picks and came out with seven picks, but they were able to net value from these trades.
Andrew Mason posted a great stat showing that when using Jimmy Johnson’s draft-point value chart, the Broncos picked up the equivalent of a fifth-round pick through all these trades.
