Denver entered the NFL draft with a need at wide receiver. They selected Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy with the 15th overall pick. Broncos Country reacted with plenty of optimism. How about the national media? Here’s a look:
CBS Sports’ Pete Brisco (B): “I like Jeudy a lot. He’s the best route runner in this draft. One concern I have with him is he’s really thin. Will he be able to hold up to press coverage?”
Bleacher Report’s Mike Tanier (A+): “Jeudy is the most likely of this year’s receivers to develop into a Michael Thomas- or Adam Thielen-like route technician who can serve as both a possession receiver and a deep threat.
