ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Defensive end Kenny Anunike will have his knee scoped after missing a second consecutive day of practice, Head Coach Gary Kubiak said Wednesday.
Anunike was on the sideline Tuesday because of swelling in the knee. Kubiak said that he was unsure whether it was the same knee on which Anunike had two reconstructive surgeries.
"It swelled up on him, and they made a decision to scope it tomorrow and see where they're at. That's all I can tell you," Kubiak said.
He said he expects to learn more Thursday afternoon about the cause of the swelling.
