The Denver Broncos are releasing safety T.J. Ward after three seasons with the team, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Saturday.
Ward started 14 games last season and had 69 tackles and one interception.
He is a three-time Pro Bowler, the most recent time coming in 2015.
Ward was set to make $4.5 million this year, and by cutting him the Broncos create $1.25 million in dead money against the salary cap.
