The company that owns the naming rights of the Broncos’ stadium is feeling the wrath of the team’s fan base after a congratulatory tweet to Denver’s divisional rival.
After Kansas City’s win over Tennessee in the AFC championship game on Saturday, Empower Retirement — a Greenwood Village-based company that oversees the retirement plans of more than 9 million Americans — tweeted “What a win! The @Chiefs are going to #SBLIV!”

Empower Retirement also has a sponsorship deal with the Chiefs.
However, the tweet caught the ire of the Broncos faithful, who took to social media to express their dismay.
