Broncos coach Vic Fangio said Monday a decision on who starts at quarterback Thursday night against the New York Jets has not been finalized, but it won’t be recently-signed Blake Bortles.
In place of Drew Lock (right shoulder), Jeff Driskel started and was 17-of-30 passing for 176 yards, one touchdown, one interception and a 71.0 rating. Brett Rypien handled the final possession and was 8-of-9 for 53 yards, one interception and a 51.6 rating.
“We’ve been talking about it (Monday),” Fangio said during a video conference. “We’ll have a decision by (Tuesday) on which way we’re going to go.
