During the first practice of rookie camp on Friday, Broncos second-round pick Dalton Risner’s position was left guard.
Left tackle Garett Bolles revealed that at a community event Tuesday night and Risner confirmed it after 47 players went through a workout.
“We may look at him (at left guard) at first,” coach Vic Fangio said. “You want to give a guy, early in his development, a home and then once he feels at home or shows that’s not his home, move them around.”
Fangio said it’s “premature” to declare left guard as Risner’s position when training camp starts in mid-July.
