Broncos Briefs: Phillip Lindsay misses third consecutive game with toe injury

1

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The target for Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay’s return from a turf toe injury will be Week 5 at New England after he was inactive for Thursday’s game against the New York Jets.

Lindsay, who hasn’t played since the first half of the Week 1 loss to Tennessee, was listed on Wednesday’s injury report as questionable, curious because he has yet to participate in a full practice.

The other injured inactives for the Broncos were quarterback Drew Lock (right shoulder), cornerback Davontae Harris (hamstring) and outside linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu (quad).
